Do Craft Beers And Sports Mix?

Do Craft Beers And Sports Mix?

Do Craft Beers And Sports Mix? The short answer is yes. There are a few craft beer lovers out there that might disagree. One or two sports fans could have qualms about the idea. We know different at The Ogden Chicago.

Craft beer lovers might fret that watching sports takes the enjoyment out of tasting a new beer. They want to focus all of the energy and spirit on the flavors of the beer. The Ogden Chicago has 16 taps, 35 bottles, and 10 cans available from local brewers and select breweries around the country. We’re all about the beer. And our food pairs so perfectly with the beer, you’ll come back for your favorite combinations. Sometimes, it’s just nice to have the game on in the background, you know?

Sports fans can be a little crazy. We all know about the superstitions of fans, but there is more to it than that. At The Ogden Chicago, we’re used to seeing people hold their breath for an entire period of Blackhawks hockey. Bulls fans will mutter to themselves whenever a player steps to the freethrow line. Some fans worry that they can’t control their intake. They think that craft beers are too strong and mixing them with sports will be too powerful a combination. Of course, we have a couple of IPAs that will grow some hair on your teeth, but we’ve got quite a few craft beers that come in at less alcoholic pop per ounce than PBR or Budweiser.

At The Ogden Chicago, craft beers and sports go hand in glove. In fact, we can hardly name a single craft beer lover who isn’t also a sports fan. The variety of craft beers at The Ogden Chicago is perfect for any sporting event. There are day games and night games. Weekend games and weekday games. With such a wide range of choices as we have, it’s possible to find a lunch time beer, a Friday night beer, and even a beer for that brunch time game on Sunday. Beer is a complement to sports, just like fries are a complement to a burger. At The Ogden Chicago, we can’t imagine doing one without the other.

If you still disagree, come to The Ogden Chicago anyway. We’ll have a PBR, Bud Light, or Corona waiting for you during, before, or after the Blackhawks or Bulls game. It’s your mouth.
